Russia's Sakhalin Energy says disruption will not hit LNG exports

MOSCOW, Aug 23 (Reuters) - Disruption on one of two production lines at the Sakhalin-2 liquefied natural gas (LNG) project will not have a material impact on LNG exports from there, Larisa Yamomoto, a spokeswoman at Russia’s Sakhalin Energy said on Thursday.

She said the company had halted a production line at the project on Saturday, but that production would be restored in the coming days. (Reporting by Vladimir Soldatkin Writing by Tom Balmforth)
