Russia's Sberbank ups 2017 capital adequacy ratio forecast

MOSCOW, Aug 23 (Reuters) - Russia’s largest lender Sberbank said on Wednesday it had increased a capital adequacy ratio forecast to at least 10.5 percent for this year from 10 percent.

Before raising the capital adequacy ratio, which compares the bank’s risk-weighted assets with its capital, Sberbank posted a record high net profit for the second quarter. (Reporting by Kira Zavyalova; Writing by Andrey Ostroukh; Editing by Dmitry Solovyov)
