Ukraine's Naftogaz says Gazprom cuts gas to Europe

KIEV, Jan 4 (Reuters) - Ukrainian state energy firm Naftogaz said on Sunday Russia’s Gazprom (GAZP.MM) has cut supplies to Europe via one of four key pipelines by 52 million cubic metres a day to 20 mcm.

It demanded that the Russian gas export monopoly immediately renews supplies. Ukraine and Russia are in a dispute over gas prices and debts, which led to Gazprom switching off supplies to Ukraine as of Jan. 1.
