SG Americas to pay $3.1 mln to settle U.S. charges of deficient data -SEC

WASHINGTON, June 24 (Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said on Wednesday SG Americas will pay $3.1 million to settle charges of providing deficient data to the regulator for approximately 27.6 million transactions and not following adequate processes to check the accuracy of its data.

The firm admitted to the regulator’s findings, the SEC said. (Reporting by Lisa Lambert)
