Lawsuit against Kentucky pension trustees, fund managers tossed

Trustees of Kentucky’s state employee retirement system and three fund managers have secured dismissal of a lawsuit by employees accusing them of engaging in high-risk investments that resulted in severe underfunding.

Kentucky’s Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the plaintiffs lacked standing because they had been paid their pensions and therefore had not suffered any injury.
