Signet Jewelers shares rise in NYSE debut

LOS ANGELES, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Signet Jewelers Ltd (SIG.N) SIG.L moved its primary listing from the London Stock Exchange to the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, and shares of the owner of Kay Jewelers rose 3 percent.

Holders of Signet’s American Depositary Shares received one new New York Stock Exchange-traded share for every two of their ADS. Signet’s ADS closed at $11.25 on Wednesday, resulting in an adjusted New York Stock Exchange close of $22.50.

Shares of the company were up 67 cents at $23.17 in midday New York Stock Exchange trade. (Reporting by Lisa Baertlein; Editing by Lisa Von Ahn)
