SAO PAULO, Oct 31 (Reuters) - A first-half goal from Davo gave Corinthians an unexpected 1-0 win over title challengers Internacional in Sao Paulo on Saturday.
Davo finished off an inviting cross 10 minutes before halftime to give the home side their first league win in nine games and lift them into ninth place in the 20-team Serie A table.
The loss was a costly one for Inter, who started the day joint top of the table with Atletico Mineiro and lost their top goalscorer Thiago Galhardo to a red card in the final minute of the game.
