Oct 18 (Reuters) - Match-by-match facts and statistics ahead of round nine of the Premier League on Oct. 20-22 (games at 1400 GMT unless stated):

Friday Oct. 20

Chelsea v Manchester United (1130)

*United have managed only five away victories in 52 Premier League meetings with Chelsea.

*Chelsea can extend their unbeaten run to nine games, a feat they achieved in title-winning campaigns of 2005-06 and 2014-15.

*Chelsea have completed 5,728 passes so far, more than any other team with midfielder Jorginho topping the table on 853.

*Jose Mourinho’s eighth-placed United are looking to build on a 3-2 come-from-behind home win over Newcastle last time out, after a poor start to the campaign.

*League top-scorer Eden Hazard has fired seven goals and provided three assists for Chelsea this season.

Bournemouth v Southampton

*Bournemouth’s only Premier League victory in six previous meetings with Southampton came at home in 2016.

*Eddie Howe’s side are seeking their third straight league win while Southampton have lost their last three.

*Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson has been involved in seven goals so far, scoring three and assisting four.

*Southampton have taken 116 shots, behind only Manchester City (174) and Chelsea (142), but have scored just six goals.

*Mark Hughes’ Saints team are 16th in the table, 10 places behind Bournemouth.

Cardiff City v Fulham

*Cardiff and Fulham have met twice in the Premier League, with the Welsh side winning both games in the 2013-14 season.

*Cardiff are without a victory in eight league matches and sit bottom of the table.

*Fellow promoted side Fulham, who are 17th, are looking to end a run of two straight defeats.

*Fulham midfielder Ryan Sessegnon has scored in his last four games against Cardiff in all competitions.

*Slavisa Jokanovic’s Fulham have let in 21 league goals this season, more than any other side.

Manchester City v Burnley

*Burnley have beaten City only once in eight Premier League meetings, a 1-0 home victory in 2015.

*Sean Dyche’s side held City to a 1-1 draw in the last league meeting between the teams.

*City forward Raheem Sterling has scored nine goals and made five assists in his last 12 league appearances at home.

*League leaders City are one of three unbeaten Premier League teams alongside Chelsea and Liverpool.

*Burnley midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson has provided four assists and scored one goal.

Newcastle United v Brighton & Hove Albion

*Newcastle have not beaten Brighton in the Premier League, losing one game and drawing the other last season.

*Rafa Benitez’ side are seeking their first league victory while Brighton are looking to make it two wins from two.

*Newcastle have struggled at home, losing all four league games at St James’ Park this season.

*Brighton striker Glenn Murray has five league goals so far, behind only Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

*Brighton manager Chris Hughton returns to his former club seeking a first league win over them in his fifth attempt.

West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur

*West Ham have beaten Tottenham 14 times in 44 Premier League meetings, with 10 wins coming at home.

*West Ham’s mini resurgence was halted by a 1-0 loss at Brighton last time out, leaving them 15th in the table.

*Mauricio Pochettino’s fifth-placed Tottenham are looking to build momentum after winning their last three league matches.

*Spurs striker Harry Kane has scored seven times in his last seven league games against West Ham.

*Tottenham are looking for their fifth straight league win in a London derby. They last managed the feat in 1961.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Watford

*Wolves and Watford face each other for the first time in the Premier League.

*The teams have met in the top flight before, with Watford’s 5-0 win followed by a goalless draw in the 1983-84 campaign.

*Wolves have 15 points so far, the most by a promoted side after eight games since Hull City claimed 17 points in 2008-09.

*Ninth-placed Watford have lost three of their last four games after winning their opening four matches.

*Wolves, who are seventh, have been beaten only once this season — 2-0 by Leicester in August.

Huddersfield Town v Liverpool (1630)

*Liverpool have won both their Premier League matches against Huddersfield, scoring six goals in the process.

*A win for Liverpool will give them 200 away victories in the Premier League. Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are the other teams to have reached that landmark.

*Misfiring Huddersfield are looking for their first league win to potentially move out of the relegation zone.

*David Wagner’s side have managed only four goals this season, all coming away from home.

*Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has four goals in all competitions so far, one more than he managed last season.

Sunday, Oct. 21

Everton v Crystal Palace (1500)

*Crystal Palace have beaten Everton only five times in 18 Premier League meetings but four wins have been away from home.

*Everton can win their third straight league match while Palace are aiming to avoid a third consecutive defeat.

*Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has been involved in seven goals in six league games against Palace.

*Marco Silva’s Everton have made 155 tackles in the league so far, behind only West Ham (158).

*Seven out of the 48 goals in Premier League matches between the teams have been penalties.

Monday, Oct. 22

Arsenal v Leicester City (1900)

*Leicester have managed only two wins in 24 Premier League meetings with Arsenal, including last season’s 3-1 victory at the King Power Stadium.

*Arsenal won 4-3 the last time the teams met at the Emirates Stadium.

*New manager Unai Emery has guided fourth-placed Arsenal to victories in their last six league games after a shaky start.

*Leicester are looking to get back to winning ways after losing 2-1 at home to Everton last time out.
