Nov 16 (Reuters) - South Korea’s friendly international against Uzbekistan on Tuesday has been moved to the Queensland Sports and Athletic Centre from Ballymore Stadium, the Football Federation of Australia (FFA) said.
The change was made at the request of the Korea Football Association (KFA), which raised concerns about the condition of the playing surface at Ballymore.
Tickets purchased for the fixture are still valid.
Both teams are competing in next year’s Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates, with Korea drawn in Group C alongside the Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, and China. Uzbekistan have been drawn in Group F with Japan, Oman and Turkmenistan. (Reporting by Simon Jennings in Bengaluru; Editing by John O’Brien)
