(Reuters) - Sevilla have signed 25-year-old Netherlands centre-back Karim Rekik from Hertha Berlin on a five-year-deal, the Liga club said on Monday.
Sevilla did not disclose the transfer fee for the former Manchester City defender but local media reported that it was about 15 million euros ($17.68 million).
The deal represents the Europa League winners’ second Deadline Day signing after Morocoo forward Oussama Idrissi, 24, joined from AZ Alkmaar, making it seven new arrivals at the Sanchez Pizjuan in the current transfer window.
The Andalusians also announced on Monday that Bryan Gil and Alejandro Pozo had joined Liga outfit Eibar on loan for the rest of the season.
