FC Dallas announced the signing of Chilean attacking midfielder Pablo Aranguiz using targeted allocation money on Tuesday.
Aranguiz will occupy an international spot on Dallas’ roster and will join the team pending receipt of his international transfer certificate and P-1 visa. Terms of the deal were not released.
The signing comes a day after Dallas sent midfielder Kellyn Acosta to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for forward Dominique Badji. Earlier this month, Dallas transferred playmaking midfielder Mauro Diaz to Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai FC of the UAE Arabian Gulf League.
Aranguiz, 21, joins Dallas from Chilean first division side Union Espanola, with which he debuted in 2016. Aranguiz tallied 11 goals, including five this year, with the club.
Dallas leads the MLS Western Conference standings at 11-3-6 (39 points).
