Goalkeeper Bill Hamid will suit up again for D.C. United.
Hamid will play for the MLS club on a year-and-a-half loan from Danish side FC Midtjylland, pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC),D.C. United announced Wednesday.
The goalkeeper left D.C. at the end of the 2017 season, but he made only three appearances for the Midtjylland first team.
Hamid signed as United’s first homegrown player in September 2009 and made his full debut the next season. He went on to set club marks in starts (184), minutes (16,269), wins (66), saves (642) and shutouts (49).
Hamid, 27, has made six appearances for the U.S. men’s national team, including two this year.
Denmark native David Ousted has started 16 of 19 matches this season for D.C United, producing a 3-7-6 record for the last-place club.
