Soccer-Roundup-Fabio Junior joins Hapoel Tel Aviv

SINGAPORE, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Soccer news in brief from around the world:

*Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Tel Aviv have signed former Brazilian international Fabio Junior, the club said.

Junior, whose last club was VfL Bochum of the German Bundesliga, signed a two-year contract with the Tel Aviv outfit.

* Portugal midfielder Deco has been given permission to leave Barcelona’s tour of Asia to return to Sao Paulo in Brazil where his wife has given birth to a baby boy, the Primera Liga club said on their Web site www.fcbarcelona.com.

* Promoted Real Murcia have taken Valencia right back Curro Torres on loan for next season, the Primera Liga club said on their Web site www.realmurcia.info.

* Afshin Ghotbi, a former assistant coach with South Korea and the United States, has been named head coach of leading Iranian side Persepolis.
