    Key stats:
    * Mexico only need a draw against Sweden to seal their
qualification for the round of 16 for the seventh tournament in
a row.
    * Mexico could potentially be eliminated if they were to
lose to Sweden and Germany were to beat South Korea, based on
either goal difference, goals scored or fair play points.
    * Their 2-1 victory over South Korea on Saturday gave them
back-to-back wins at a World Cup for the first time since 2002.
    * Javier Hernandez became the first Mexican player to score
50 goals for the national team when he netted against South
Korea. He is also the third player to score at three different
World Cups for Mexico.
    * Mexico have failed to get beyond the last 16 since 1986,
when they reached the quarter-finals as tournament hosts.
    * Sweden will qualify if they draw against Mexico and South
Korea beat Germany. 
    * The Scandinavians can secure a last-16 spot regardless of
Germany's result if they beat Mexico by a margin of two or more
    * Their defeat by Germany marked the first time since 1990
that Sweden lost a World Cup group game, ending a streak of 10
group matches unbeaten. 
    * Sweden have not defeated a North or Central American
nation since their home World Cup in 1958, when they beat
    * The winner of the group will take on the runners up of
Group E, which could be Brazil, Switzerland or Serbia. The
runners up from the group will face the winners of Group E.

    Previous meetings: The two sides have met on nine previous
occasions, with Sweden getting the better of Mexico four times.
The only World Cup tie between the sides took place in 1958 in
