SOCCER-FIFA fines World Cup hosts Russia for discriminatory banner

MOSCOW, June 30 (Reuters) - Global soccer governing body FIFA said on Saturday it had fined World Cup hosts Russia 10,000 Swiss francs ($10,098.97) after their fans displayed a discriminatory banner during the country’s 3-0 loss to Uruguay.
