Spanish stocks - Factors to watch on Oct. 15

Oct 15 (Reuters) - The following Spanish stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Thursday. Reuters has not verified the newspaper reports, and cannot vouch for their accuracy:


Spanish cellphone tower operator, Cellnex, said on Thursday it has successfully completed a 1 billion euro bond issuance aimed at qualified investors and maturing in October 2030 at a coupon of 1.75%.


Spain’s Pescanova said on Wednesday that its third-quarter net loss narrowed to 44,000 euros, from 142,000 euros in the same period a year ago.


Hedge fund Marshall Wace has picked up a 3% stake in IAG, the owner of British Airways and Iberia airlines, a Spanish regulatory filing showed on Wednesday.


Spain’s Repsol expects to receive around 115 million euros from the sale of some plots of land the company owns next to its Madrid headquarters, economic newspaper Cinco Dias reported on Thursday.


HSBC cut Siemens Gamesa’s rating to ‘reduce’ from ‘hold’, and cut its price target to 20 euros from 20.5 euros.


The Spanish retailer said its total sales in the third quarter rose to 1.68 billion euros from 1.64 billion euros in the same period a year ago.
