SSL to buy footcare brands for up to 33.2 mln stg

LONDON, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Britain’s SSL International SSL.L, the maker of Durex condoms and Scholl footwear, said on Tuesday it had exchanged contracts to buy a range of footcare brands for up to 74.9 Australian dollars (33.2 million pounds).

SSL said it was buying the Orthaheel, Orthastyle, Vasyli and Vas brands in Europe and Asia for an initial purchase price of A$32.9 million, with the rest dependent on achieving sales targets. (Reporting by Mark Potter, Editing by Mike Elliott)
