Union Pacific says repairs completed on lines out of Houston

Aug 31 (Reuters) - No. 1 U.S. railroad Union Pacific Corp said on Thursday workers completed repairs on rail infrastructure between storm-battered Houston and outlying Bryan to the north and Angleton to the south.

Union Pacific also said switching operations will begin over the next two days in its primary rail freight yards in the Houston area, Englewood and Settegast, and said it was allowing some freight to move at some locations in the Houston area. (Reporting by Eric M. Johnson in Seattle)
