Swedish housing starts down 10 pct in H1 - Stats Office

STOCKHOLM, Aug 20 (Reuters) - The number of housing starts in Sweden fell around 10 percent to 30,950 in the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2017, the Statistics Office (SCB) said on Monday.

It was the first decline during the first half of the year since 2012 when 27 percent fewer apartments were built compared to the first half of the previous year.
