Unite the Union rejects Total's revised pay offer

Sept 11 (Reuters) -

* Unite the Union members rejected a revised pay offer by Total by 95 percent on Tuesday, the union said in a statement.

* Another meeting under the auspices of the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) has been scheduled for Sept. 13.

* If the negotiations at ACAS are not successful then the previously planned strike for Sept. 17, for a 12-hour stoppage, will go ahead as scheduled, the union said.

* After several strike days halted operations on the Alwyn, Elgin and Dunbar platforms, talks between Total and the Union on changing rotas broke down last month. (Reporting by Eileen Soreng in Bengaluru; editing by David Evans)
