Up to 15 pct of Turkey's 'closely watched' loans could sour -banks association head

ISTANBUL, Aug 8 (Reuters) - As much as 15 percent of the Turkish banking sector’s “closely watched” loans could become problem loans, the head of the Turkey’s banks association said on Wednesday.

Huseyin Aydin made the comment in an interview with broadcaster NTV. He also said that the ratio of such closely watched loans was at around 7-7.5 percent in the sector.
