Turkey's Erdogan says optimistic on economy as interest rates fall, lira firms

ANKARA, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Turkey’s interest rates are falling and the lira is firming, giving concrete reason to be optimistic about the economy, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday.

Erdogan added that shops that keep food items like onions and potatoes in stock, causing prices to increase, will be raided if complaints are received about them.
