Turkish competition authority to investigate 23 supermarkets over fruit and vegetable prices

ISTANBUL, March 4 (Reuters) - Turkey’s competition authority said on Monday it opened an investigation into 23 supermarket companies to determine whether they violated competition rules when setting prices for water, fruit and vegetables.

The chains that are to be investigated include BIM , Migros, Sok and Carrefoursa , the competition authority said in a statement. (Writing by Ezgi Erkoyun Editing by Dominic Evans)
