Air France unions keep May 7-8 strike call after pay deal rejected

PARIS (Reuters) - Air France unions on Friday said they were maintaining a strike call for next Monday and Tuesday after staff rejected a pay deal and the company’s CEO said he would resign.

Force Ouvriere representative Christophe Malloggi told Reuters unions felt vindicated by the result of the company referendum in which more than half of the staff who cast a ballot voted against the pay deal.
