BAKU/YEREVAN (Reuters) - Azerbaijan’s defence ministry said on Wednesday it would destroy all military facilities in Armenia that targeted civilian settlements.
The Armenian defence ministry denied firing on civilian targets, but said it reserved the right to target any military installations and combat movements in Azerbaijan.
The renewed fighting in and around Nagorno-Karabakh is the worst since a 1994 ceasefire ended a war over the breakaway region that killed at least 30,000.
