VIENNA (Reuters) - Austria’s Vice Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache will make a statement at 1000 GMT, the Freedom Party said on Saturday.

The coalition government has been plunged into a deep crisis after footage apparently showed the Freedom Party leader discussing state contracts with a potential Russian backer in return for political support.

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz is ruling out to further work with his deputy, a coalition source told Reuters.
