London's Gatwick airport says runway open again after brief closure

LONDON (Reuters) - The main runway at London’s Gatwick Airport was briefly closed on Friday but has reopened, a spokesman for the airport said.

Earlier, LBC radio said there were no arrivals or departures from the airport reportedly due to a problem with a Virgin Atlantic plane on the runway.
