UK 10-year gilt yield hits record low as investors seek safety

LONDON (Reuters) - The yield on 10-year British gilts fell to a fresh record low on Tuesday as Prime Minister Boris Johnson threatened to call an early election to break the Brexit deadlock and investors sought the safety of government bonds in international markets.

The yield on 10-year gilts GB10YT=RR fell by 3 basis points to 0.382%.
