UK statistics agency reschedules retail data for September 20

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain’s statistics agency will publish August retail sales data at 0830 GMT on Sept. 20 after postponing the original Sept. 14 release date due to what it described as “technical issues” affecting the data.

The Office for National Statistics announced the delay on Wednesday when it said it had experienced problems processing the data and that postponing the release was needed “in order to complete the necessary processing and quality assurance to meet ONS’s highest standards”.
