LONDON (Reuters) - Britain’s ruling Conservative Party will order its lawmakers to vote against all amendments to its motion on delaying Brexit when they are voted upon later on Thursday, Daily Telegraph reporter Steve Swinford said on Twitter.
“The Government will oppose all amendments selected. We will vote ‘No’. If the main motion is amended by any or all amendments, we will oppose the amended main motion. We will vote ‘No’,” Swinford quoted Conservative chief parliamentary enforcer Julian Smith as saying.
