Britain welcomes EU agreement on transition terms

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain welcomed the European Union’s agreement on Monday on transition terms after Brexit, with Prime Minister Theresa May’s spokesman saying the two sides’ positions were well aligned.

But the spokesman told reporters there was some distance between the EU and Britain on more than one transitional deal issue.
