VIENNA (Reuters) - Austria’s Wienerberger (WBSV.VI) continues to believe that a Brexit deal will be reached and aims to further benefit from a much needed catching up in residential construction in Britain, its chief executive said on Friday.
“I assume, that we will find a solution,” Heimo Scheuch said at an investor fair in Vienna.
The Austrian group, which generates around 10 percent of its annual sales in Britain, operates 14 sites in Britain which work at capacity, he said.
“We could face some problems if we see a very hard Brexit, which I don’t expect... but we would overcome those difficulties.”
