UK emergency services responding to 'incident' at gas plant in south Wales

LONDON (Reuters) - Emergency services were responding on Friday to an incident at a gas storage plant in Margam, south Wales, police said.

They gave no details of the incident but one Twitter report talked of a “hell of a bang” at the BOC company site.

David Rees, a local politician, said he had heard there were no reported injuries.

The police said they were being supported by the fire and ambulance service.
