China's Xi seeks more cooperation with Pacific Alliance bloc

SANTIAGO (Reuters) - Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Tuesday that China is willing to strengthen its dialogue and cooperation with Latin America’s Pacific Alliance trade bloc, composed of Colombia, Mexico, Chile and Peru.

Speaking alongside Chile’s President Michelle Bachelet in the Moneda Presidential Palace, Xi said both countries needed to push for an “Asia-Pacific free trade area.”
