BoE's Bailey says welcomes UK government's green bond drive

LONDON (Reuters) - Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey said on Monday he welcomed the British government’s decision to issue green government bonds from next year.

Bailey also said in a statement that he welcomed Britain’s commitment to “press ahead” with work on central bank digital currencies.
