Warner hits ton before lunch on first day of third test

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australia’s David Warner become the fifth batsman to hit a century before lunch on the opening day of a test match when he achieved the feat against Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Tuesday.

The lefthanded opener reached the milestone off 78 balls with 17 fours some four minutes before the break to match compatriots Victor Trumper, Charles Macartney and Don Bradman as well as Pakistan’s Majid Khan.
