COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Danske Bank’s (DANSKE.CO) Group General Counsel Flemming Pristed has decided to resign, a spokesman for the bank told Reuters on Monday, confirming a report in Danish online media Finanswatch.

The bank on Monday appointed Jesper Nielsen, a member of its executive board and head of its Danish banking business, as interim chief executive after Thomas Borgen said he would quit amid a money laundering scandal.
