Danish second-quarter GDP grows 2.3% year/year

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased 2.3% in the second quarter from the same quarter a year earlier, the national statistics office said on Friday.

Second-quarter GDP grew 0.8 percent from the first quarter, Statistics Denmark said.

The value of second-quarter GDP was 579.9 billion Danish crowns (70.59 billion pounds).

First-quarter GDP growth was revised up to 0.2% from the fourth quarter of last year, versus a previous figure of 0.1%.
