BERLIN (Reuters) - Customers of Deutsche Bank’s (DBKGn.DE) Postbank unit must brace for new walkouts after wage talks with Germany’s biggest lender failed, labour union Verdi said on Tuesday.

Verdi official Christoph Meister said in a statement the bank had offered a wage hike that did not even meet the projected inflation.

The union is now initiating a strike ballot, Verdi added.
