Visegrad group to stand together on EU matters - Hungary PM

BUDAPEST (Reuters) - The Visegrad group of central European countries will “represent a shared point of view” on issues of the European Union’s top positions and policy at an EU summit next week, Hungarian premier Viktor Orban’s spokesman said in a statement on Thursday.

The premiers of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic met in Budapest on Thursday to prepare for the summit, at which they will back candidates who take the region seriously and support its interests, he added.
