Randstad says European wage inflation remains modest

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Wage inflation in Europe remains modest despite continuing recovery in the jobs market, Dutch employment company Randstad’s finance chief said on Tuesday.

“We see labour shortages in certain sectors in Europe. You would expect wage inflation, but we don’t really see it,” said CFO Robert Jan van de Kraats after the company posted better than expected quarterly profit.
