Euro zone consumer confidence falls to -15.0 in July

(Reuters) - Euro zone consumer confidence fell by 0.3 points in July from the June number, figures released on Thursday showed.

The European Commission said a flash estimate showed euro zone consumer morale decreased to -15.0 this month from -14.7 in June.

Economists polled by Reuters had expected a rise to -12.0.

In the European Union as a whole, consumer sentiment was unchanged at -15.6 points.
