Italian fashion designer Ferre critically ill

ROME (Reuters) - Italian fashion designer Gianfranco Ferre is in a critical condition in a Milan hospital after suffering neurological problems, a source close to Ferre said on Saturday.

Ferre, 63, was admitted to the intensive care unit of Milan’s San Raffaele hospital on Friday and his condition has worsened considerably, the source said. The hospital declined to comment.

Italian news agencies said Ferre had suffered a brain haemorrhage.
