French bosses federation sees confidence boost from labour reform

PARIS (Reuters) - The head of France’s employers federation said on Thursday that the government’s labour reform was an important first step that could boost companies confidence.

In a first reaction to the reform presented earlier on Thursday, MEDEF head Pierre Gattaz also said he regretted that severance payouts would be raised.

“This reform by decree is an important first step in the construction of a labour law in step with companies everyday realities,” Gattaz told journalists.
