BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro said on Friday he might contact Chinese President Xi Jinping about acquiring medical equipment to contain the coronavirus pandemic, either buying or receiving on loan or through donation.

Backing away from a diplomatic spat set off by his son blaming China for the health crisis, Bolsonaro said China and Brazil are countries that have the same mutual economic interests, as his health minister warned that the Brazilian health system only has the capacity to deal with the crisis for 30 days.
