BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A suicide bomber killed 14 police recruits lining up at an Iraqi police station northeast of Baghdad on Tuesday, police said.

They said 23 people had been wounded in the blast in the majority Sunni Muslim town of Muqdadiya, 90 km (50 miles) northeast of Baghdad. Police said three among the wounded were civilians and added the death toll may rise.

Bombers frequently target Iraqi security forces.
