Irish annual inflation inches up to 1.1% in June

DUBLIN (Reuters) - Ireland’s annual inflation rate inched up to 1.1% in June from 1% the previous month, data from the Central Statistics Office showed on Wednesday.

June was the fourth month in a row that inflation was 1% or higher. Prior to this consumer prices in Ireland had been broadly flat for several years despite the fact that the country’s economy has been the fastest growing in Europe.
