Vodafone Italy spends 2.4 billion euros in 5G auction

LONDON (Reuters) - Vodafone Italy (VOD.L) said on Tuesday it had spent 2.4 billion euros (2.14 billion pounds) on new airwaves for 5G services auctioned by the Italian government.

Italy raised an overall 6.55 billion euros from the sale, the Industry Ministry said.
