Italy's PD leader optimistic on government deal with 5-Star after meeting

ROME (Reuters) - Nicola Zingaretti, leader of the centre-left Democratic Party, was upbeat on Monday over the possibility of reaching a government deal with the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement after meeting 5-Star chief Luigi Di Maio.

“We are working to give Italy a new government ...I think that we are on the right track. I am optimistic,” Zingaretti told reporters.
