French warplanes strike Libyan command centre

PARIS (Reuters) - French warplanes struck a command centre Sunday night belonging to troops loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, a French armed forces spokesman said Monday.

“(There were) strikes on a command centre 10 km (six miles) south of the Tripoli suburbs on the night of the 27th and 28th,” spokesman Thierry Burkhard said. He added that there were no new French strikes Monday.
